4Th annual barn dance and bar-b-q

Join your neighbors on Friday, June 23rd, at Chimney Pond Farm to hear award winning Songs From The Road Band. Mountain Youth Charities (MYC) is excited to have this bluegrass supergroup back for another fun evening of music and dance. Another favorite returning to the event is local Square Dance Caller, Joe Sam Queen. He will lure guests onto the dance floor with his traditional Appalachian square dances. He never fails to delight! And Cashiers' own dance intructor, Danie Beck, will again guide us to the steps of Boot Skootin' Boogie, Achy Breaky Heart and other line dances. There will be a specail performance by the Junior Appalachian Musicians.This organization teaches chldren to play common Appalachian intruments and study the rich history of the region. There will be delicious Bar-B-Q from On the Side in Cashiers and Cake Walks for non dancers. See y'all there!
