What does being grounded mean?
To be fully present in the here-now with clarity, able to engage through our full range of feelings, thoughts and reactions with our environment. When we are grounded, we live in a state of calm readiness and see reality for what it is. We are free from our own preconceptions, opinions and stories. Grounding is the basis of discernment and allows the discharge of unwanted energies. This happens because we are linked with the earth which constantly nourishes us, helping us to feel strong, confident and safe.

What are signs of being ungrounded?
Confusion, insecurity and anxiety which eventually lead to a state of exhaustion and later sickness. Unable to prioritize. Being ungrounded can show up in two very different ways: energetically floating around, dancing above the earth in an airy-fairy mindset OR being weighed down by emotional repression. These very different lifestyles are opposite sides of the same coin: being ungrounded.

What will we learn in class?
The Three Groundings. These are physical exercises to:
1) Reconnect us with the earth through our root chakra
2) Open the Heart Chakra and
3) Open our Channel (Third Eye chakra) so we can work with our guides

At the end of each class, we will have a short Light Invocation meditation. We will call Light for healing ourselves, our loved ones, our community and the world.
