Cashiers Christmas Parade

Held annually on the second Saturday in December, The Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to plan and produce the Cashiers Christmas Parade with local businesses, organizations, and residents celebrating the holiday season. Chamber staff organizes parade theme, volunteers, participating lineup, awards and live broadcast of the event from the Cashiers Crossroads. GRAND MARSHAL | Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust which is celebrating its 100th property preserved, 115th anniversary of Plateau conservation and 15th year of Jackson County land conservation

COMMUNITY LUNCHEON  |  Hosted by Cashiers Cares with the help of Rotary will take place at the Cashiers Community Center following the Parade. Visit with Santa and visit with the Friends of the Library who will be gifting new books to children visiting Santa.

SPECIAL FEATURE  |  Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley will be at the Crossroads during the parade collecting extra winter coats, fleeces, scarves and gloves as part of the winter coat drive in partnership with Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry in Cashiers. Thank you for planning and donating lightly used items to those in need. 

PARADE ROUTE | The one-mile parade route starts on Highway 107 South and heads North towards the Cashiers Crossroads where participants are announced to the crowd. The parade then turns left on US Hwy 64 heading West and ends at the intersection of Frank Allen Road at the Cashiers Community Center

AWARDS | Judges stationed at the Crossroads determine annual winners for the Cashiers Christmas Star, Elfin Magic Award, Holiday Spirit Award, Tin Soldier Award, Cashiers Caroling Award, Santa’s Sleigh Award, Vintage Vehicle Award, Rudolph’s Friends Award, and the Fruitcake Award. PARADE CHECK-IN & LINEUP (print the details here) | Starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Southernmost intersection of Cashiers School Road and Hwy 107 South at Cashiers United Methodist Church (Lineup will be on Cashiers School Road facing North toward Cornucopia)

REGISTER | Before Friday, December 6. The lineup will be determined and announced via email the week of the parade.
