Christmas is the season of joy, and, for those who celebrate the birth of Christ, Christmas is the season of love coming to earth. Christmas is about a Child - Jesus! 

In this cantata, the story is told through familiar music, seasonal carols and inspired melodies.Beginning with an instrumental overture, the choir enters singing the Advent carol, "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel." Mary's song, the shepherds' story, the joyous birth, the quiet manger move the story along through narrative and music. The sole intent is to draw attention to this Child, this King, sent to earth to redeem the world, for THIS is the HEART of Christmas!
