Join Friends of Panthertown for our Bioblitz Kickoff on Tuesday, April 22nd, from 3-5:30pm. This event is being graciously hosted by Western Carolina University, in the Hunter Library, Room 186.
This is our kickoff event to the first EVER Bioblitz in Panthertown. We are excited to introduce our knowledgeable line-up of hike leaders and specialists, welcome partner organizations to participate and help lead this initiative and engage our community through a month-long educational calendar of events (April 22nd - May 17th).
Our bioblitz kickoff will offer a wide variety of information; our partner organizations will be present to celebrate Earth Day with us, we will be sharing our iNaturalist project publicly, and we will have signups for our calendar of hikes available as well.
Join us for an Earth Day celebration with local conservationists, snacks and drinks, and a kick-off for Panthertown's first ever bioblitz!
