Red, White, and Blue Ridge 5k

Join us for the inaugural Red, White and Blue Ridge 5K in Cashiers, NC as we celebrate America in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and raise money for Blue Ridge School, a local public school!
Beat the summer heat with cooler temperatures at 3,484 ft. of elevation and kick off the July 4th holiday with a quick run or walk to benefit local students! Starting and stopping at the Cashiers Recreation Center you will finish your race with breakfast and find yourself right in the midst of July 4th festivities on the Plateau! Come for the race and stay for the celebrations!

Red, White and Blue Ridge 5K, hosted by Blue Ridge School in beautiful Cashiers, North Carolina. This will be the fastest July 4th 5K in the mountains and all proceeds will assist the school with future needs.
5K
The race will start and finish at the Cashiers Recreation Center on Frank Allen Road and will be an out-and-back using Valley Road (gravel), Cashiers School Road and Cashiers Lake Road. This course is super flat with only 56 feet of elevation gain along the course.
Fun Run
This .5-mile run/walk will take place entirely on Frank Allen Road
Entry Fees
Early Entry (March 8-May 31) - $20 - Shirt available for purchase for $10 extra
Regular Entry (June 1-Race Day) - $30 - Shirt available for purchase for $10 extra
Fun Run - $5 (no shirt included)
Stay on the Couch - Back the Bobcats without breaking a sweat - $20

We recognize that most runners have a lot of race shirts so we are making this shirt an a la carte item for purchase. Shirts are priced at $10 and may be purchased during online registration.
Post-Race
Please stay around for post-race food and drink and the awards ceremony.
Awards
5K awards will be given to the top overall male and female, the top masters male and female and the top 3 male/female in the following age groups: 14&Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70&Over.
Parking
Some parking is available at the Cashiers Recreation Center, however, all cars must be removed no later than 11:00 AM to allow the town to prepare for that evening’s fireworks show.
