Panthertown Valley Guided Hike to Tranquility Point & Schoolhouse Falls

Friends of Panthertown Valley will be hosting a guided hike into Panthertown Valley on Friday, August 16.

The group will hike up Little Green Mountain to Tranquility Point and then to Schoolhouse Falls for magnificent views of Panthertown Valley. Some hiking experience is recommended. The hike will be led by Friends of Panthertown volunteer Wynette Wiles.

Hike with Friends this summer to learn more about Panthertown Valley and the work that we do to maintain and protect this special place. R.S.V.P. is strongly recommended as group size is limited

Weather permitting, we will be meeting at the Cold Mountain Gap entrance off Cold Mountain Road in Lake Toxaway at 9:30am and expect to be back to the parking lot by 2pm. We will be hiking about 4 miles round-trip. Wear appropriate footwear, and bring water and a lunch to enjoy on the trail.

Members of Friends of Panthertown are welcome to bring friends and family on this free hike at no-cost. Non-members are asked to join Friends of Panthertown or make a donation in support of the work we do to protect and maintain this special place.
