National Angel Food Cake Day is celebrated annually on October 10. 

 

The CHS Board members will bake up an angel food cake to share and all are invited to come and taste.  There will be local musicians providing some good old fashion foot-stomping and finger-snapping music.  In addition, there will be craft time in the dependency where you can learn about broom making and make your very own "bitty" broom.  The grounds and all buildings will be opened this special day beginning from 11:00 until 3:00.  There is no charge for this event, but donations are always welcome.  Cashiers Historical Society is a 501 C 3
