Groovin' on the Green featuring 1st Train Band

Venue: The Village Green

This 9-piece hard driven horn band is sure to get you on your feet! From Sylva, NC, 1st Train band started playing together in 1970 and have had so much fun they've kept the party going. 1st Train is known for playing 70s and 80s favorites from bands like Chicago, Doobie Brothers, and much more!

 

Groovin' on the Green is a popular Friday night concert series that features a variety of great regional musical talent as well as locally provided food and beverages. Bring a chair or blanket, your friends and family at 6:30pm to The Village Green Commons on Frank Allen Rd. in Cashiers (next to the post office). Concerts are FREE to all attendees who would like to sit on the lawn, donations are encouraged. To ensure that all concertgoers have a great view of the stage, 10x10 tent spaces need to be reserved and purchased in advance via https://www.eventbrite.com/e/groovin-on-the-green-featuring-1st-train-band-tickets-249300844537?aff=TentSpaces  ALL TENTS WILL BE PROVIDED.
