Church of the Good Shepherd Annual Auction & Bazaar

Every July, Cashiers’ Church of the Good Shepherd gives back to the area non-profits and the community with two of the best shopping , gathering, and eating events of the season.

Silent and Live Auction

Friday, July 12th, 4:00 pm/6:30 pm

Location: Church of the Good Shepherd

The Silent auction begins at 4:00 and the Live Auction at 6:30. The offerings are both unique, sought after events, catered meals, parties, estate pieces, and services from area shops and seasonal residents. (Programs will be available a week before for full listing of auction items) Shuttle transportation will be available. A $10 donation covers the food and beverages being served.

Bazaar

Saturday, July 13th 9:00 am-1:00 pm

Location: Cashiers Community Center and the Bazaar Barn

Arrive early for a hot breakfast, stay for lunch; parking is free. Find amazing bargains on furniture, lawn, and garden items, tools, sporting goods, holiday decorations, baskets, antiques, linens, kitchen gadgets, children’s toys, casseroles, soups, pies, and frozen foods. In one glorious swoop, you can outfit a baby’s room, a college dorm, or an apartment! You can replace small appliances, snag vintage art, replace bed linens, and much more! The Bazaar is for both the bargain hunter and the quick eyed collector.

Why support the auctions and Bazaar?

Our plateau is a special place with glorious natural beauty, outer and indoor adventures, good weather, summer vacations, and swimming holes. Like other communities, many Cashiers residents also experience poverty, unemployment, drug abuse, and limited financial resources. Good Shepherd’s annual auctions and bazaar donate 100% of the money raised to more than 35 local non-profit organizations. Financial support is provided for medical services, educations, environmental issues, fire and rescue, scholarship, preservation, men, women, children and elderly services.
